PEACE IN OUR COMMUNITY

How do you promote peace in your community? Do your beliefs influence your role as a peace-maker? To celebrate what is commonly known as ‘Peace Day’ around the world, the Boroondara Interfaith Network, in partnership with Burwood and District Inter-Church Council invite you to a peace forum bringing together people of all faith backgrounds to discuss how we can create peace in today’s society.

You will hear from speakers representing the Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Islamic faiths sharing how their beliefs strengthen their commitment to social harmony. Listen to their insights as both makers and keepers of peace in our continued progress toward a harmonious society.

We aim to make this event accessible and inclusive to all of the community. If you would like to attend this event and have specific access, communication or dietary needs please contact 9278 4753 by 9 September 2013 and we will do our best to accommodate you. This is a free event, however bookings are essential.
